Wenn das stimmt, dann hat sich Fortune Star von IVL und Deltamac getrennt und die neue Firma möchte anscheined die Fans mit einbeziehen.

I can't disclose yet who the new Fortune Star distributor in Hong Kong is because the deal is not finalized. However, the company has asked me to help them gather some preliminary feedback to determine how they should approach these new releases.

This new Fortune Star distributor will be handling both the digitally remastered and non-digitally remastered titles.Previously in Hong Kong, IVL handled the digitally remastered titles while Deltamac handled the non-digitally remastered titles. I can't divulge how many titles they are licensing but I can say it is in the hundreds.

For those that don't know, Fortune Star was created by Star TV to oversee the licensing of Star TV's film library which includes the films made by Golden Harvest (pre-94), Cinema City, D&B, and many other production companies. For many, the films in this library are the best of the best of the golden age of Hong Kong cinema.

My contact at the company will be directly involved in the production of the DVDs so your feedback will make a difference. He will be monitoring this thread and reading your feedback. This is your opportunity to have your voice heard.

When this new distributor finalizes the deal with Fortune Star, they will put a list of films they have licensed on their website and will allow the fans to choose which films get released first. They will also be allowing fans to decide which non-digitally remastered DVDs will have DTS/DD 5.1. My contact is promising a level of interactivity that HK DVD fans have not seen before.

Our company will soon be releasing the entire Fortune Star collection including over 600 Hong Kong classic titles that released throughout the 70's to the 90's, of which there will be over 100 titles digitally remastered. Other titles will be released as is. These films and the film makers of the film, have recorded an unmeasured amount of history and facts in Hong Kong and written a glorified page in the history of Hong Kong films. Hinweis: diese sind von der "Remastered 16:9" Schiene. die 70s Schinken u.ä. werden 4:3 Letterbox sein, haben also mit dieser Reihe nichts zu tun.

Wenn die Quali stimmt werden die alle gekauft. Besonders freue ich mich über "All About Ah Long"

und die beiden "Royal Tramp" Teile.
Von den anderen beiden Titeln gibt’s zwar schon qualitativ gute VÖs aber wer sagt, dass die nicht auch zu Toppen sind?!

Cool, auf Eastern Condors warte ich schon lange. Von den Jackie Chan Filmen gibt es ja schon brauchbare und günstige DVD's von HKL. Glaube kaum das die da noch was Besseres hinzaubern.
